Cancer and End-of-Life Care

Cancer and End-of-Life Care is the topic of Hospice Foundation of America's 17th annual live-via-satellite webcast educational program.  The teleconference is sponsored locally by the Hi-Desert Hospice department (a program of Hi-Desert Medical Center).
 
Moderated by Frank Sesno, Director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at the George Washington University, the teleconference features a multidisciplinary panel of experts who will address care options related to cancer diagnoses as well as loss and grief reactions for patients, families and professional care-givers.  The teleconference will also examine psychosocial aspects of cancer, pain management and ethical issues related to the disease.  Healthcare professionals, educators, clergy and others concerned with the effects of this issue are invited to attend this FREE teleconference in the Helen Gray Education Center located on the medical center campus.
