Spirituality and End-of-Life Care
Hospice Foundation of America's 18th Annual Living with Grief Program
Wednesday, April 13, 2011 - 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Hosted in the Helen Gray Education Center located on the medical center campus This year Hospice Foundation of America's program focuses on "Spirituality and End-of-Life Care." The program will discuss differences between spirituality and religion, while also addressing spirituality during illness, death and grief, spiritual assessment and empowerment, and life review. Moderated by Frank Sesno, Director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at the George Washington University, the program will be broadcast via DVD on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You may register for this seminar, hosted by Hi-Desert Hospice in the Helen Gray Education Center, by calling 760-366-6424. Lunch will be served; registration is required. This teleconference is recommended for hospice professionals, educators and counselors, social workers, case managers, physicians, grief counselors, psychologists, nurses, emergency medical services, funderal directors and clergy.
