Diabetes Health Fair
Saturday, November 5, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
located on the medical center campus
  
November is National Diabetes Awareness Month and Hi-Desert Medical Center is emphasizing the importance of early detection and disease management with a FREE health fair.  Program presenter, Bobbie Anderson, RN, CDE, certified diabetes instructor at Desert Regional Medical Center, will explain the signs and symptoms of diabetes; the important links between diabetes, proper nutrition and exercise; and the latest treatment advances. The event will include blood glucose screenings (fasting not required); Body Mass Index (BMI); and blood pressure screenings. The fair will also feature free raffles, educational materials and refreshments.
