Give Hope, Give Life, Give Blood -- Eat a good meal before donating blood, drink plenty of fluids, bring a photo ID, refreshments will be served. Healthy individuals may donate blood. Prospective donors should be free of infections or illness, weigh at least 110 pounds and not be at risk for AIDS or hepatitis. Donors receive a free mini-physical as part of the donation process. Donating blood takes about an hour, yet gives someone a lifetime. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are recommended. To make your appointment, call 760-366-6324 or visit LifeStream.
