Joshua Basin Water District
Hi-Desert Medical Center and Joshua Basin Water District have partnered to build the first wastewater treatment plant in the Morongo Basin.  This collaborative effort brings a package waste treatment plant near the medical center campus and will have the capability of handling 52,000 daily gallons or more of waster water flow.  This will serve the 23,500 square feet of planned facility expansion and all of the existing HDMC facilities including the Continuing Care Center.  The construction bid was won by Van Dyke Plumbing Company of Twentynine Palms. Construction began November, 2012.
