Hi-Desert Medical Center announces new leadership

Hi-Desert Medical Center recently announced new leadership:

Michelle Amdahl, RN, has been named director of nursing at the Continuing Care Center (CCC). She returns to the CCC where she worked previously as unit manager. |

Alice Antone has been named director of medical imaging. Relocating from Lebanon, Tennessee, where she was the director of medical imaging at Riverview Regional Medical Center, she brings 12 years of imaging experience to her new position. |

Alice Brown, RN, has been named director of surgical services. She brings to her new position 30 years of leadership experience in surgical settings including Desert Regional Medical Center and Eisenhower Medical Center. |

Jackie Combs, RN, MSN, was named new administrator of the Continuing Care Center (CCC). Combs has been with the healthcare District for seven years. Most recently, she has served as infection control preventionist, a post she will continue to oversee. Previously she was the District's chief operating and chief nursing officer and has also been interim administrator of the CCC. She replaced Esther Tomaszewski who is stepping down this fall into semi-reitrement after serving as administrator for four years. Tomaszewski will remain in the district on a part-time basis as the CCC's coordinator of quality and resident safety. |
