Hi-Desert Medical Center Unveils New Logo

The Hi-Desert Medical Center today announced it is retiring its decades-old "nuclear family" logo and replacing it with a new one featuring a Joshua Tree.  According to Joe ruddon, vice president, marketing and business development, the new logo was selected because it is indigenous to the area, and has strong spiritual and holistic healing qualities.  The new logo also features the "Hi-Desert Memorial Health Care District" that will be used as an anchor for all logo treatments.

"A new organizational logo signals, among other things, a new day for an organization," says Ruddon.  "HDMC has new leadership, is adding new services, has quality outcomes, and in many ways, there is a feeling of change throughout the organization.  This new logo represents these things."  He adds that it will be phased in during the next year and used in such things as letterhead, business cards, the District website and signage.

The logo was created by Palm Desert based full-service marketing firm, FG Creative, whose other clients include The Living Desert, the City of La Quinta, Desert Oasis Healthcare, and the McCallum Theatre.
