The second Leadership Academy, which seeks to provide an in-depth look at the inner-workings of today's community hospitals, is nearing completion. During the May meeting, the class heard a presentation on the District's quaity indicator outcomes. They also toured the hospital's main surgery suite and performed and interactive "mock-surgery" using surgical instruments.
