HDMC announces the appointment of new foundation president

The Hi-Desert Memorial Health Care District Foundation Board of Directors has appointed Dean Moore as its new President.  He brings to his post more than 10 years of executive leadership, fundraising and financial management experience.  Moore has a long history of local nonprofit experience.  Most recently, he was executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs, where he secured $2 million through the annual fundraising campaign.  Previously, Moore was executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Harbora Area/Costa Mesa, California.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University South Bend.
  
"It is a privilege to be working with this new Foundation board and hospital staff as we organize and begin raising funds to support the programs and services of the healthcare District," says Moore.  "I look forward to working with businesses and community leaders to meet a shared vision for the future of the Hi-Desert Memorial Health Care District."
