Whooping cough is on the rise in California.  To combat the outbreak, new legislation requires that all students entering grades 7 through 12 during the 2012-13 school year show proof of having received the whooping cough booster (TDaP).

Just in time for back to school, Hi-Desert Medical Center's Family Health Clinics in Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms are offering FREE TDaP boosters to eligible students up to age 18.  Two clinics are being offered:

  • Twentynine Palms Family Health Clinic, Saturday, August 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The clinic is located at 72724 Twentynine Palms Highway, suite 103.  For more information call 760/367-5906.
